Now this was an amazing experience, and I don’t mean all good! Let me explain. RAW Artists is an organization that supports local artists, all kinds of them, photographers, mixed medium, musicians, arts & crafts, etc. They host regular shows every few months for the artists to bring in people to view and possibly buy their work. My experience working with them was positive, and I had other opportunities because of them as well. Now comes the reality of it…

It was a lot of work. It was hard work, a lot of planning, even more guessing, and did I mention a lot of hard, physical, work? I wanted to impress every person that visited my booth; however, I underestimated how much work it would be to pack everything up, drive there, unload, set everything up, stand for 6 hours and then tear it all down, pack it up, and drive it back home. Whew! It was exhausting just remembering it. It was such a great experience though, and I may even do it again down the road; however, I definitely learned a thing or two about what I should (and shouldn’t) bring.

Even though it was a lot of work, I met many great and talented people and had a ton of support from my friends and family, and I enjoyed every minute of it! Check out some pics below.
